Personal

David Khoo has interests in keeping fit by cycling and swimming. He regularly cycles to work and cycles.

His hobbies include windsurfing and gardening. He has an interest in all things to do with computers, especially Macs.

David became a Christian at a young age, and is very committed to being a witness to Jesus.

Medical Training

David Khoo qualified from Guy's Hospital in London in 1983.

He has worked in:

• Portsmouth,
• Ashford, and
• St Thomas'

                          Hospitals before being appointed in 1996 as a consultant in Oldchurch and Harold Wood Hospitals.

David Khoo is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and has an MS thesis from the University of London on "Fats and Cancer".

He has research interests in laparoscopic surgery, bile duct surgery and oesophagogastric cancer.
