Mr David Khoo is a Consultant General Surgeon with over 20 years of surgical experience. He specialised in the surgery of the gastrointestinal tract and laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery. Mr Khoo trained at Guy's Hospital, London and has trained in surgery mainly in the east and south of England and London.

David Khoo's specialty encompasses laparoscopic and open surgery on the stomach and oesophagus including bariatric (obesity) surgery, reflux surgery and the surgery of cancer. His general surgical interests also encompass gallbladder and hernia surgery.

David Khoo has research interests in laparoscopic surgery and cancer surgery. He is passionate about training future surgeons and was awarded the "Silver Scalpel" award in 2009 by the Association of Surgeons in Training.
